I posted here about how California was heading for a green train wreck if the citizens didn’t fight to stop AB32, the California version of Obama’s Cap and Tax and Tax and Tax and Tax. Fortunately a group has formed and created a petition to suspend AB32 until such time as the state’s unemployment drops below 5.5% for four consecutive quarters. I’d rather see the law totally repealed, but beggars can’t be choosers. If you are a resident of California and a registered voter, you can download the petition, print it (print a bunch and get others to sign it also), sign it and send it to the sponsors to help get this imitative on the November ballot. I’ve gotten a bunch of folks to sign and have mailed back six completed signatory pages.(just noticed the completed petitions have to be postmarked by April 16!!!!! Hurry!!!)
Anyway, even if we are able to suspend AB32, the state is still in big trouble. Watch this video:
We have a very long and tough fight ahead. In fact, the state may have to hit bottom, similar to a drug addict, before enough citizens realize we can’t keep feeding the beast called government. Tea Party folks have already awakened, but there just aren’t enough of us in California to actually make changes. We’re going to have to be satisfied to play the role of catalyst for change.
